Brad Hamilton (b. 1965, Canada) is an American photographic artist whose work blurs the line between documentary and conceptual art. Collage, fictional narratives, and composited imagery are some of the methods used to explore his adopted culture; and to dig below the superficial similarities with his place of birth. Most works are in the form of long-term projects.
Originally from Canada, Brad received his BFA from Parsons The New School, and worked as an art director before dedicating himself to photography full-time. He has participated in group shows, including a solo exhibition at The Maine Center for Contemporary Art, and currently divides his time between Western Massachusetts and Brooklyn, NY.
